Always convinced of the importance of defining a space in an exhaustive way, over the years we have designed a multitude of bespoke elements, from wardrobes to bathroom cabinets to entire kitchens, following the creative urgency to expand our research field towards smaller elements specific to home living.
These furnishings always responded to a site specific need, and were conceived in an indissoluble relationship between them and the surrounding space.
Despite this, we have decided to collect and share some of these elements on a dedicated page as we believe that - given their characteristics - they can be used for customization and updated for other cases, calibrating materials and colors fro\m time to time.

After a long pause dictated by recent global events, the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan decides to restart and does so by renovating its dressing rooms.
VIETATO L'INGRESSO allows each dressing room of the theater to be renovated by a different architectural firm and we are proud to announce that we are among these names!
A huge thanks to Marzia Ginocchio and Gianmario Longoni, Arcimboldi's general managers, and Giulia Pellegrino, friend and curator of the project as a whole.

A reflection about Reality

Thinking about reality as a subjective elaboration of what our brain perceives from the outside world, maybe the aim of our contribution as reality builders is to combine beauty and honesty.
Alan Moore said “Beautiful things are prepared with love. The act of creating something of beauty is a way of bringing good into the world.”
And this is true, because there is no reason to waste our strength to create something mediocre.
Honesty is about starting to create something that is functional for real needs without creating something decontextualized or with inappropriate materials and/or uncomfortable spaces: everything must converge to be consistent with its use.
And for us this is what create reality is all about: trying to create beauty with the appropriate approach defined by the context.
This doesn’t mean "create something static" or that you can’t create something new, that you can’t experiment new shapes, try new materials, combine atypical finishings or create interaction between spaces; quite the opposite, research and experimentation is fundamental in order to create a reality that evolve with human behaviour.
This means struggle with rules or clichés, sometimes with clients but sometimes also within the design team itself; it is the result of this debate and the examination of different points of view that create a new awareness that allow you to experiment and free the project from a static result.
